Why is my soda flat?
Start with the ice and CO₂ supply before blaming the syrup.
Water pours, but there is no syrup
Usually the box, connector, pump or supply line.
My syrup pump will not stop running
A steady clicking pump often means it is drawing air instead of syrup.
Why does my drink taste weak or too sweet?
Find out if it is the flavor, the water or the syrup ratio.
My soda tastes or smells strange
Check freshness, cooling and cleaning before serving more.
Syrup is leaking around the BIB rack
Find the messy connection without tearing the rack apart.
My Wunder-Bar gun keeps dripping
Where the leak appears tells us a lot about what has worn out.
A bar gun button sticks or keeps pouring
Stop the unwanted pour and avoid a bigger mess.
My bar gun spits or gives me mostly air
The air may be coming from an empty syrup line or a water problem.
One fountain flavor is not dispensing
Check the corresponding syrup first, then the valve.
No water is coming through the dispenser
Check plumbing and power before assuming the fountain failed.
How can I tell if I am running out of CO₂?
The signs are different with cylinders and bulk systems.
The CO₂ alarm is sounding. What do I do?
Leave the area right away. This is not a troubleshooting job.
Is frost on a liquid gas cylinder normal?
Sometimes yes. Where it appears and how the tank behaves matter.
My nitrogen generator is not supplying gas
Check power, display warnings and the rest of the gas supply.
Why is my draft beer pouring all foam?
Temperature is the first suspect. Pressure and cleaning come next.
No beer is coming from the tap
Check the keg, coupler and gas supply.
My draft beer tastes strange
Temperature, freshness and line cleaning are a good place to start.
No gas is coming from my beer gas blender
Some blenders stop delivering when one source gas runs out.
How to keep bar guns and fountain nozzles clean
A little daily care makes a big difference in flavor and performance.
Storing and changing bag-in-box syrup
Keep boxes dated, fittings clean and hoses out of the way.
Bulk CO₂ tank: reading the gauges and frost
Use the two gauges, frost pattern and current demand to narrow down an outage.
Why is my draft beer flat?
No head versus a head that disappears tells you where to start.
Draft beer is warm
Compare keg temperature and the poured beer to find the cooling issue.
Beer tap sputters, spits or burps
Check the keg, line restrictions and seals before touching gas settings.
Why does my beer look cloudy?
Tell expected beer haze apart from a new draft-line problem.
Liquid cylinder pressure too high or too low
Understand high pressure, low pressure and when the tank is overworked.
